The War on Terror, and Army life?
Im ashamed to say i don’t know much of the subject..
If anyone here is in the Military, i would love to hear anything you could share about it,
Whats it like?
I’ve wanted to join since i was little but im not yet of age to join.
Every day i think about it, did you when you were younger?
I’d love to know anything you can share of army life.

Also,
I don’t want to sound arrogant, but this question has bugged me for a while now.
What do soldiers do with he Dead bodies?
I read a book about the Canadian Military and how they came across deceased bodies every day.
Is there any rule about what to do with them?

I ask this because I saw a picture on the Internet of Soldiers burning Taliban fighters, Are they suppose to do this? Or just retaliating to them dragging our guys through the streets tied to the back of trucks?

Thanks all

1. On base it is ok, everything is free, food, entertainment, gas, etc. If you go OFF base you are in danger.
2. Living conditions are usually less than ideal. Its like 120 degrees out there and you cant just turn on your A/C and drink some Pepsi, or whatever.

On the upside, you keep on getting paid and there is not much to spend money on except if you have a car/home/credit card payment etc that automatically comes out every week/month, etc. If you have no bills like that you can save a boatload of cash. I have heard of people staying in the middle east for months or even years and just banking every penny. They come home with like 20G’s or more some much more. My buddy was like 22 and had like $50k saved with some work after he got out of the airforce contracting in the middle east.

War is a racket . War is hell . That is why the PTB do not go but send the young innocents to do what they are afraid to do . I would never fight another ’s war .

Try the film End Of America by Naomi Wolfe and Cold War History books Iran Covert Operations, Vietnam War, and since Canadian United Nations,

Now as to War on Terror what happened in Chile with brutal murder of 3,000 people is what it is about.

Death Squads in El Salvador is also what it was about during Reagan years or about The Contras a group terrorizing inhabitants of Colombia perhaps

Idea to stop Socialism. Purpose of this one maybe to stop environmentalists from stopping Global Warming and to profit of high oil prices in Iraq.

This is U.S. policy nothing said of Canadian. One more thing citizens in El Salvador and Chile were tortured and disappeared dumped in The Pampas.
Could be wrong about country but did it in one.

If a soldier is lost in combat today, their remains are prepared for travel back by a mortuary affairs specialist. They are returned along with their personal belongings.

I have never heard of American soldiers burning Taliban fighters, but I’m not saying it didn’t happen. And no, it’s not protocol to do things like that.
